About GlobeSpec

GlobeSpec was founded in 1985 with one basic principle in mind, “To provide the finest quality inspections and assessments nationwide and to supply our customers with an uncompromising level of service.”

Our Service Pledge

When you receive an Inspection/Assessment report from GlobeSpec you also receive our commitment that we stand behind our work. Should there be an oversight or should we fail to report a condition that is within the scope of the inspection/assessment report, we will make every effort to remedy the issue at our expense. Furthermore, you will feel confident knowing that GlobeSpec carries a $3,000,000 Errors and Omissions Insurance policy.

Mission Statement and Corporate Philosophy

  • We are a resource providing a center of technical expertise for all to share.
  • We strive to become an active, contributing member of our client’s relocation team.
  • We believe in long term mutually beneficial relationships with our clients.
  • We continually strive to improve quality, performance and efficiency.
  • We believe all people must be treated fairly, with respect and compassion.

Our Structure

GlobeSpec does not rely on a franchise, franchised agreements or franchise inspectors. We seek out and select the best available inspectors in all areas and we typically have three to five of the best inspectors in each major metropolitan area. These inspectors share our goal, which is to complete the inspection/assessment in the quickest possible time frame while maintaining the highest level of quality. With our focus being solely on the Relocation Industry, GlobeSpec can more readily adapt to the changing world of relocation and specifically tailor our programs to meet these changing needs while maintaining consistent quality reporting.

Our technical report reviewers and writers have a unique understanding of the Relocation Industry, having had previous Relocation and/or other related technical experience. This brings a specialized knowledge of industry needs and allows for flexibility in meeting and exceeding client expectations. All reports received from the field are reviewed for technical accuracy and clarity and then summarized in an exception format with adherence to either ERC guidelines or those specific guidelines required by our clients. The only exception to this is Texas that has specific requirements that are governed by law.

According to statistics supplied by the Employee Relocation Council (ERC), GlobeSpec has provided more Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) training to our clients than all other inspection companies combined. This is another example of our commitment and our understanding of the needs of the relocation industry.

Our pricing policy reflects our commitment to quality and value. Our pricing is established with our client’s cost containment in mind while providing appropriate compensation to our inspector network reflecting the quality and professionalism delivered.
